Finding a excellent hotel when you’re on a journey in Montreal isn’t always straightforward, since you have so many options! Obviously, you can opt for something out of the same Montreal handbook which everybody and their sister has used for the past several years, but that does not mean you’ll have a very good experience (in fact, it might just about guarantee a negative one!). To find a better choice, it’s a great idea to do a tiny bit of researching, utilizing your buddy the Web. Locals will usually be aware of the good places to stay in their own city, just what the best hotel rooms are, and the best occasions to hit up their chosen parts of the city. But you can’t be going up to anyone you happen across in the airport in Montreal, expecting their tips. So alternatively, we’ve put together a brief list of our 3 most-loved hotels in Montreal for you. These are the ones we recommend to our family and friends when they arrive to visit – but as we really do not want you to believe we’re really being biased, below are the comparisons from Yelp.com:

1. Loews Hotel Vogue
1425 Rue De La Montagne
Montreal, QC H3G 1Z3
(514) 285-5555
This hotel is quite lovely. The elevator was really fast, the bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom was amazing (featuring both a shower and separate bathing tub). There was also a tv in the bathroom for those longer trips in there.
I do have an issue that they don’t offer free wifi in the rooms and their shower doors allow water onto the floor quite easily. But that’s just being picky. Def one of the best hotels I have been to. The help there is very friendly, and definitely lives up to its name.

2. Hilton Montreal Bonaventure
900 de La Gauchetiere W
Montréal, QC H5A 1E4
(514) 878-2332
The hotel is on the roof of the building and has some gorgeous views. The room was a nice size and the bed comfy. The staff was also friendly.
My only complaints are that there was no wireless in the rooms and I had to carry luggage up and down a few stairs to get to and from the room.
I would certainly return if I’m in the area again.

GREAT hotel. Five star service, five star room quality, five star cleanliness, and five star decor. I would absolutely return. The gym is nice. The pool is very cool and they have tangerines EVERYWHERE. I know that sounds weird, but in this dry cold, its very nice on the pallet. We had breakfast yesterday in the cafe and it was good quality food. I even liked the coffee, and I am very picky about coffee. Great Choice for traveler’s with the ability to afford luxury.
